Care & Counseling
Walking Together in the Highs and Lows
The Chapel network of churches offers care and support to our church family and neighbors in the community in a variety of ways. This page displays the full list across all of our campus locations. You don't have to be a member of The Chapel to attend - all are welcome. We invite you to come as you are.
The groups and activities below are a result of our desire to live out Jesus’ words in John 13:34-35: "A new commandment I give to you, that you love another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."
We hope that you find them a soothing breath of hope and encouragement for your soul. You are loved.

Side-by-Side Biblical Counseling
We all have been in seasons of struggle in our lives where it is easy to feel alone. The Bible gives us a great promise for these times - we are not alone! Christ is with us. He will walk side-by-side with us and show us the way toward His mighty grace, mercy, and strength.
With Christ as our model, our counseling ministry will seek to come alongside you in your journey. If you consider The Chapel your church home and are in need of strength, hope and clarity on this path, we want to walk with you.

Pre-Marital & Re-Marriage Counseling
We believe that marriage is one of the most beautiful and powerful earthly pictures we have of God’s relationship with us. God’s design for marriage comes to life when both people choose a path of laying down their individual lives and purposefully moving toward healthiness and deeper understanding of each other and God. A healthy couple does this as both a team and as individuals. For couples preparing for marriage or seeking to reconnect in marriage, we encourage the following:
- Attend pre-marital/re-marital counseling.
- Complete the Prepare and Enrich marriage assessment.
- Marriage mentoring with a wise, experienced, Christ-centered marriage couple.
- Plug into gospel community with other married couples of varying ages and stages.
For couples desiring to be married at The Chapel, completing pre-marital counseling first is a requirement.
Support Groups
Life, at times, feels incredibly difficult. We are here to say you don’t have to face these struggles alone. We have several support groups that offer you a safe place to land and seek hope and restoration in Jesus Christ.
Our Support Groups sessions kick off at the beginning of the year and again in the fall. Fall 2022 groups will begin in September. Contact our Care Department with questions or for more information.
I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.John 16:33
The Way Out
Thursdays | 6:30-8pm. New 13-week session begins in September.
As God's children, we can be set free from the enslavement and idolatry of addiction: free of systems, steps, ideas, and possessions. Welcome to a community of Christ-loving men and women who are fellow strugglers, encouraging one another in an environment of grace. He has provided our path to freedom through a radical transformation of our hearts and a redemptive fellowship with Him and with one another. We are committed to worshipping our way out of our bondage to hurts, hang-ups, habits, and addictions and into the abundant way of living that Christ has promised to us.

The God Who Weeps
Thursdays | 6:30-8pm. New 13-week session begins in September.
This support group is designed to be a place of help and encouragement after the death of a spouse, child, family member, or friend. It is an opportunity to bring your unique, sacred grief - that only you and God know - into a shared community walking together unto hope.
In prayerful pursuit of that comfort, this support group progresses through GriefShare, a grief recovery program hosted by Nancy and David Guthrie, with video seminars led by various counselors including Michael Card, Dr. Larry Crabb, Joni Eareckson Tada, Elyse Fitzpatrick, Ruth Graham, Anne Graham Lotz, Dr. Paul David Tripp, and others speaking from their own experiences of loss and grief.

When Relationships End
Thursdays | 6:30-8pm. Meets year-round.
This support group seeks to offer tangible steps and identifiable markers of grief and healing for the divorced, separated, and brokenhearted. Small group support and discussion time provides the opportunity to listen to and share hope and strength, as you navigate through the confusion of loss and move forward in the plans God has for you.
In prayerful pursuit of that comfort, this support group progresses through DivorceCare, a divorce and separation recovery program hosted by Steve Grissom and Denise Jones, with video seminars led by various counselors including Sabrina Black, Elsa Kok Colopy, Dr. Craig Keener, Dr. Tim Muehlhoff, Dave Ramsey, and others speaking from their own experiences of walking through ending relationships.
